The plot very interesting so I’m looking forward to digging into this novel find out how Santinelli will be able to survive the harsh difficulties he faced after discovering a child in the road. I like suspense and mystery novels and this one is right up my alley.

The plot sounds interesting. I'm drawn in already.
But how does a mother carry a child for nine months, deliver it, and then discard the child in a carton in the middle of a street like trash?
I'd love to find out what happened to Curby and how Curby turned out.

The review brings out emotions about family and love but indicates the book lacks these things.
I’m anxious to read the book myself and see if there’s a happy median, and discover that Curby finds himself with the family he deserves. Not an easy subject to write about so kudos to the author for writing the book. Good review.

"Curby" by Adrian del Valle is a story about an abandoned baby found in a box on the street. Nick Santinelli worked as a driver on the New York City street sweeper and one eveing he saw a worn-out carton in the street and he found a baby inside. His girlfriend was suffering from cancer and had only three years to live so he brought the baby home to become part of their family. Nick went to court to battle for custody of the baby they named Curby. This is a fast read that tells the heartwarming story of family bonds and love. I look forward to reading the book. is a book of fiction. Tommy and Valerie had a baby, Tommy didn't want the baby, told Valerie to get rid of it.
I am definitely in reading the rest of it. Congrats on being the BOTD!

Thank you for your wonderful review. From reading a sampling of this book I really enjoyed it. I do hope that Nick gets to keep Curby for both of their sakes. Perhaps because it isn't very long, some info is left unknown, like does Jaime know all about Curby. From the sample and your review, I have decided to add this to my list of books to read.

The title and book's cover already give the readers the cuteness' vibe. I like fast read stories and well developed characters. This story sounds like a heart-warming but painful at the same time. I wonder if they would find Curby's biological parents. I agree if this story should be expanded to cover the missing elements of emotions and plot development.
