I like that Peter Gray had to fight against the terrorist organization with the help of a lawyer. Thanks for the engaging review.

Seems like a book with a good flow, and one that requires some deep concentration because of the strange terms and places. I believe it is a wonderful read. Great review!

This suspenseful thriller sounds like it is a well-written, believable, and amazing story. That when you start reading it, it will be hard to put it down. Great review!

Peter Gray and his family moves to Uruguay for a promised job. However, their peace would be threatened through schemes brought by a terrorist group. This seems like an exciting read. Congrats on BOTD!

Very good review. My curiosity was piqued reading the sample. I would very much love to see how the story unfolds. I like that the book is set in yester year. It adds a classical feel to the novel. The characters are strong and play their roles well as the book develops. Kudos to the author for the book of the day selection.

I never read a story set in Uruguay. Is this book based on a true story? It sounds terrific and I love suspenseful story. So i'm wondering what would Peter do to escape the situation and could he save his family? I'm not a fan of slow pace story. I don't know if I would enjoy this one. this book featured family in danger and terrorist organization that could make me anxious and uneasy. I think it remind me about the movie, that set in Vietnam, I guess. Thank you for the well-written and detailed review.

From a sampling, this seems like an interesting crime/thriller following a family living and working abroad in Brazil who come under the scrutiny and threat from the local resistance group. When the family decides to escape, they face some major difficulties. Will they make it out of the country safely? It might be worth a second look. Well done.

The intriguing portrayal of an ordinary family who first fights legally with the insurgent guerrillas and then tries to escape from Uruguay for their safety seems engaging.

This sounds like a gripping yet sad tale. Family safety is a priority to almost everyone. I hope Peter Gray was able to keep his family safe.
Insofar as the word 'should' even has meaning, then we must say that the past is exactly as it should be, everything that happened should have happened, and everything that should happen will happen

This sounds like a thrilling action-packed book about the perils of a "perfect" career. Usually, if things seem too good to be true, they are. Thanks for the informative review.

A work of historical fiction that revolves around family. Peter is an interesting character who has a lot on his plate, and I love the fact that this book is realistic as it can be. Thanks for your honest review.

When I read in the subtitle the word "imperialist," I immediately knew that communism will also be involved in the story. After learning about the novel's premise, it turned out I'm right.
Congratulations to the author for BOTD!
