Thank you for sharing your review with us. I’m not normally a fan of historical fiction, but your review captured my imagination. I’m curious to see how Richard deals with the prejudice against him and the the illuminati trying to suck him in…

I'm not a fan of historical books, so I didn't really connect with this one. However, avid lovers of it would be elated upon reading it. The plot seems engaging. Congrats on BOTD.

I love historical fiction and the illuminati has always been an interesting subject to look into in the matter of conspiracy

I love historical fictions, but this plot is somehow confusing. I somehow can’t relate to it. I’ll likely add it to my shelf. Great review!

I had already heard of conspiracy theories and the Illuminati, but I never saw them as serious topics; I thought they were nonsense. I find it to be an elaborate and interesting story. I hope to change my point of view by reading this book. Thanks for the review.

The title intrigued me because I am aware of the conspiracies surrounding the Illuminati. I am further intrigued by the "shadow plots" during the French/British conflicts.
Congratulations to the author for BOTD!

I don't believe that something like the Illuminati exists but the stories around this controversial group are entertaining and intriguing. Thus, I'm looking forward to this well-written novel by Richard Rees.
