Maybe a more effective subtitle could have been "Putting the 'i' in team." A lot of these old adages can be overused to the point where people overlook valuable information that can help a situation, so I see why this book is valuable. Great review!

'Official Review: Individual Influence' by Brian Smith and Mary Griffin has a solid introduction. It well highlights the contents of the book for voracious readers. The point that the book examines the individual and the impact of individuals in larger groups is worth mentioning in the review. Also, the point that the authors explain the complex topics using examples from their life experiences is worth mentioning in the review. It was great to learn that the book was written in a straightforward and simple manner that the readers would appreciate!

Focusing on oneself is important before leading or contributing to a team. I also believe that there is "I" in a team because a team constitute a number of individuals that have a certain characteristics. I find this book interesting and I am looking forward to reading it.

I like this version of the contribution an individual makes to a team. It’s true there is no I in Team, but the effort an individual puts in to improving themselves and the team goes on to benefit the team as a whole.

I totally agree that we should work on ourselves first to improve the team that we are part of.

From a sampling, this seems like an interesting self-help book about how to improve one’s self as an individual and thereby improve the team as a whole. It might be worth a second look. Well done.

I can see how this book would be good for for anyone who's into self-development, whether they're part of a group or not. And I think readers will appreciate that the book is well organized as much as they do the practical advice and key takeaways. Great review!

This book is for every reader of every age. It contains vital life lessons on finding oneself. I like the dual meaning used in the book, of Individual and Individuals. The author mentions saying we even when speaking of himself only and that stayed with me. We all need someone , at some point, no matter how briefly. The book is interspersed with real stories and this adds a personal touch. Kudos to the author on his work making today's selection.

I like the authors' concept of the individual maintaining their uniqueness in a group. When each individual brings their best, it strengthens a team or relationship. Thank you for your recommendation, and congrats on BOTD.
