"If the word “suffering” simply means having unfulfilled desire, then to be human is to suffer. That is because when one fulfills their current desires, more desires emerge".
This is absolutely true!

I love the one: "truth is something that can be revealed not something that can be done". Truth comes naturally as it is the truth, it is what happened and what is. This made me think about how much work lying is, as you have to remember your lie and keep feeding it to make it seem like the truth.
This one made me go "oh, wow!": "You are not a human being having a spiritual experience; you are a spiritual being having a human experience" We come from God as he created us and we return to God when we die, then we go to heaven. We truly are just having a human experience. I have never thought of it like this.
Then I absolutely also love your fav quote: "Be kind, for everyone you meet is fighting a hard battle" You never know what the other person is going through or the reason behind why they are being rude or impatient. They might be going through something they are struggling to cope with.

Just one child.
One child suffering and dying.
Picture it.
Now multiply that terrible feeling by millions."
This quote makes me very sad when I think about suffering children.

This is a verse from the Bible (Matt 16:26) also quoted in this book on page 168. I like this quote because the Bible says that our soul can be saved through Jesus.

These are words of Jesus from the Bible (Luke 6:31) quoted in this book. This verse teaches us how to treat others with love and respect - the way we would like to be treated by others.
