An open-mind and the willingness to incorporate new technologies or beliefs in order to benefit their clients is one of the most important aspects of a good therapist, in my opinion. And the format aspects you mention might seem minute but I've found that a consistent and reader-friendly experience helps the reading experience immensely.

Thank you for the excellent review on this book, it certainly encourages a reader to take a look for at what it has to offer. I like the fact that it is well organized, and the author has provided useful steps on being a good psychotherapist. I imagine that will be of value to students and perhaps to others who may need to see a psychotherapist for the first time by knowing a little of what to expect.
