It wasn't until the doctor told me I was suffering from psychosomatic disorder after a series of tests that I fully understood the amazing work of psychotherapists. This doctor brought me back to life from a gruesome depression due to too much looses at the time.
It takes depth, tact, experience (from professional to personal) to help a patient bounce back to full recovery.
With the increase in mental health issues these days, psychotherapists shouldn't be in shirt demand.
This book in my opinion, isn't suited for psychotherapists alone but for anyone willing to broaden their horizon and be informed about mental health and related issues. Amazing review. Congratulations on BOTD.

The book sounds interesting and very well researched with lots of documentation, client relationship, couples counseling, and client meetings. But self-hekp books are not my cup of tea. Still I'm sure the book will find its reader. Congratulations on becoming BOTD!

Great review, although I am not particularly intrigued enough to read this one today. However, I think this would be beneficial to college students that are still looking for a career, maybe they'd find psychotherapy interesting.

I have to say that I know very little about psychotherapy, so this book can be useful to understand what it is and when someone might be in need of it. Life can be rough, so anyone might need professional help in some really bad periods. Thank you for your great review!

Your review is on point. I'm more inclined to neuroscience than psychological subjects.
I would recommend this to traumatised people such as survivors of outbreaks, shell-shocked soldiers or people in war-torn situations as they're likely to exhibit outrageous behavioural patterns if not diagnosed preemptively.
