Review of Covid Orphans

I am not sure if I could read this book. I already feel sorry and hurt for everyone who lost their loved ones because of the pandemics, and these events come just too close to the reality, or should I say very recent history. However, this sounds like a beautifully crafted story. I'd love to know how the life unfolded for these three orphans, Chandra's children. Maybe I'll read the book once after a few more seasons have passed.

I was a few pages into the book, and I panicked, thinking, "What have I done! Why did I pick a book about COVID-19??!!" But, thankfully, it was fine, and I really enjoyed the story. I especially loved some of the strong female characters that kept things in order.

I felt sorry for Isabella, Makayla, and Tristen being orphaned in this surreal time. Who gonna take care of them? If I'll read this book, I think my heart is screaming with sadness. Your review, Donna, is such a loving and thoughtful piece!
