Reconfigurement by E. Alan Fleischauer is a nonfiction self-help book. The author’s aim in this book is to show the importance of planning ahead of time. The book offers advice on how to make decisions that will result in a happy future. Readers can use it to assist with retirement choices later in life. The author is a retirement expert. Before retiring, financial considerations should be made, according to the book. There are thirteen chapters in the book. Budgeting your income, health insurance, social security, life insurance, and many other topics are covered in the book. It offers advice to readers on financial planning. He supported his ideas in this book with facts and figures gleaned from customers and financial institutions.

I liked this book because of its good qualities. I enjoyed the humor the author used in his writing. His writing was really informal, and I couldn't help but notice that. It enabled me to stay composed as I read this book. I felt a connection to both the author and this book. He writes in an approachable, casual style. He uses basic, easy-to-read language. Given what it is about, I had expected the book to be rife with jargon and difficult-to-understand terms. The book is appropriate for a larger age range thanks to the author's use of plain language and an eloquent style to convey his ideas. Instead of preaching to his audience, the author tries to have a conversation with them. He helps readers understand their circumstances and demonstrates responsible financial management.

There was nothing that I disliked about the book; it was well-written and interesting to read. The book's credibility was enhanced by the links and further reading that were included. This book is highly informative and gives you detailed directions on how to rearrange your life, as well as many motivational reasons why you should do it right away. I am glad I came across such a thoughtfully provocative book to teach me about many things.

I enjoyed the various quizzes and questions that were presented towards the book's conclusion because they were comprehensive, intriguing, and enjoyable. Fewer descriptions are used to better attract and maintain readers' attention. The few charts and tables in the book were all easy to read and understand. There were no grammatical errors or mistakes in it; therefore, it was exceptionally well edited. As a result, I am rating this book 5 out of 5 stars.

I would recommend it to anyone over 30, and to people who are about to retire from work or are even planning to make a career change.
