Official Review: My Husband's Request - Sex With a Strang...

[Following is the official OnlineBookClub.org review of "My Husband's Request - Sex With a Stranger!" by Jessika Hensley.]

My Husband's Request-Sex With a Stranger By Jessika Hensley, is definitely more of a very short story rather than a book/novel. The title of the story basically gives what it is about, away. If you couldn't guess though, basically, a woman is granted permission to have sex with a stranger. There is not much more to the plot line.

The short story is an erotic one for sure and uses VERY strong language. I have personally never read an erotic short story before, so I was very surprised at this type of language. It was a very short read, which I was glad about because if it was any longer than it was, I probably would have stopped reading. To me it was more of a written pornography. Definitely NOT meant to be read by anyone under the age of 18.

In my statement above about not finishing the story if it was any longer has nothing to do with it being "bad", it just got to a point where it was too repetitive. From the opening first few sentences I could already see how the rest of the book was going to read. The strong sexual language was very prominent to me though out as well.

To me there was no real "theme" other than sexual desire, if that be seen as a theme at all. Out of 4, I would have to give the short story a 2. My reasoning behind this is because there wasn't really a story line. It only took 14 pages for the author to get the main "scene" across to the reader. Maybe if there was more of a storyline I would have enjoyed it more. Giving it a better/longer story line would have probably brought my rating up to a 3.

I chose to read this particular short story because I have never read anything "erotic" before and thought it would be interesting. Maybe for readers who enjoy this type of writing will feel differently, but personally I need more meaning when I read. Overall it wasn't a terrible read, entertaining for sure. If you're looking for something brain stimulating though, this is probably not it.
