It's undoubtedly good to learn to slow things down every once in a while. I love how you included the bit about how the cover of the book plays into its meaning. Congrats on making BOTD!

I'm not a big fan of self-help/non-fiction, so I'll be passing on this book.

There are different ways to de-stress. Although I agree on exercise, some people can't meditate through prayer or faith. I guess this book is only for those who agree with the standpoints of the author. However, a well-written review!

I can relate to the idea of “hurry sickness” and being incredibly busy all the time. I also like the idea of using characters. I don’t usually like self-help books either, but with characters, it would be a nice change. I am definitely interested in checking this book out and seeing what it has to offer.

I immediately grew fond of this book, for myself, and because I know so many who will benefit from it as well. If they're not willing to hear it from me, after I have read the book, at least I can recommend they read it directly, as it's written by a Ph.D. degree holder. "This author writes books and teaches classes on achieving wellness by using healthy lifestyle choices such as exercise, a good diet, meditation, prayer, and living a simplistic life."

"Regardless of circumstances such as stress or chaotic living situations, the author convinces one that peace can be achieved in daily life."- The 1st step is to admit there's a problem and 2nd is to ask and accept help, no matter how difficult it is. This book will take care of the rest, thanks to this raving review. Thank you so much!

Thank you for your review. There are many books of this type in the market but your review made it more attractive in the sense that it comes across as not 'dry' or academic. The book's approach is that of holism and simplicity (and not simplistic as I understand this word to mean 'overly simple'). It is certainly a refreshing reminder of life's basics.
