The problem with slowing down is that the rest of society continues to move too fast. This book has great ideas for personal time, but the rest of the world isn't geared toward slowing down and probably never will be. I recommend it for anyone needing stress relief and time out. Thank you for your review!

I practice minimalism and love that Susan tells her readers to adopt simplicity, love for nature and volunteering, as these healthy activities are positive and beneficial for everyone.

Uplifted
A positive lifestyle book that helps to build and develop a life plan for health and positive living by correcting yourself, giving yourself healthy alternatives including rest and meditation as well as remaining calm and descending into your own being. A 12 minute step to better health and positive affirmation. I like the book until it suggested that a give a $100 tip to a waitress for good service on top of a $20 cafe bill. I think that is extortion and possible sex shop front underhanded business.
No doing that.
Congratulations on being BOTD

This "hurry sickness" is more apparent in the cities where the population is booming. This book may help some readers find peace amidst the chaos in their hectic schedule. I hope the lessons here are applicable to me. Congratulations on the BOTD.

A well-written review that explains everything about the book. Balance is really the key to living a healthy, and fulfilling life. I also like that the author has added a Christian perspective with bible verses throughout the book.

That "hurry sickness" reminds me of how everyone on the streets of Nairobi is always hurrying somewhere. Later, you'll find them seated at a popular public joint, scrolling through their phones. In life, too, we are often in a hurry to achieve something that we forget to live. I, for one, hitherto didn't think that calling a friend can make life fulfilling; just thought it a waste of time. I really need to read this work! Congrats on the BOTD.
