Judging by the review of this book, this book sounds like it would be an emotional roller coaster, but one which one could relate. Congratulations on the book of the day.

I like that the author researched the historical information for accuracy. This seems like a family oriented story. I'm interested in finding out how Jacob and Heschel survived in the brothel. Congratulations on making book of the day!

The OnlineBookClub review of this book gave a detailed review and I could understand what the book is about. However, the sample pages I read did not pique my interest. This seems like a good one for anyone interested in historical fiction with a touch of romance. Congratulations on being the book of the day!

Thank you for sharing your review with us. Stories where parents give up their children breaks my heart into pieces. I’m currently looking for something a little more upbeat, so I think I will pass.

This historical fiction portrays the adversities that Jacob and his younger brother, went through as they grew up. Its good that in spite of all that, Jacob could still find love even in the most unlikely of places. I would like to know what kind of vengeance he meted out on his childhood assailant.
Thanks for the review.

Judging from the review itself, there is still a lot to look for in this book. There might be a dampener as the reviewer mentioned but, there is still something I'm interested to find out, like, what happened to the brothers after getting settled in America. Thank you for the review.

At first, I was confused by the caption. But I later discovered that's where the author's creativity lies.
The book sounds like a real page-turner and I would love to know how Jacob's long-kept secret affected his present life. Thanks for the review and kudos to the author.

It's heart-rending to see how Jacob's father left him and his brother to fend for themselves in a dangerous place like a brothel when he was supposed to be their guardian. And, this book's plot is interesting and emotional.

Quite a fascinating and unique title. After reading the book, you would probably be able to determine what or who the story is about. I hope the content within would be intriguing. Congrats on getting the BOTD.
