The Pocket Guide to Minimalism: Because Living Simply Doesn't Need to Be Complicated by Katy Moeggenberg is a 62-page self-help book written to help people live a minimalist lifestyle. The book has a table of contents and six chapters, including the closing remarks.

The book starts with the author Katy Moeggenberg redefining minimalism in a way that is different from what people generally think minimalism is, and she redefined it as getting rid of unnecessary clutter so that one has to have a space that is clean and free of distractions. She proceeds to give readers three simple but effective steps to guide them toward minimalism: minimizing, organizing, and maintaining. With its effective methods for minimalism and step-by-step guidelines, as well as the simple language and relational nature of the book, this book is sure to help anyone on the path of achieving a minimalist lifestyle.

I love how the author corrected the wrong notion and wrong definition of minimalism, and I like how she didn't tailor this guide to her own idea of minimalism but instead wrote it in a way that would help readers decide on the things that are important in their lives. I like that the author breaks minimalism down in simple terms and makes us see that minimalism is not as complex as people may make it look, and it's about separating what you really use from what you don't and not keeping what you don't use no matter who it came from. This particular lesson was truly helpful to me, as I like to keep a lot of things I'm not using in my space all in the name of keeping them as memories, but this book made me see that keeping this unnecessary stuff is not needed.

To some extent, minimalism seems to be a huge thing, and I'm glad this book gave me enough insight on how I can achieve minimalism in my space as well, and I especially like the advice she gave about not trying to transform everyone in my family or all of my friends into minimalists because that was literally something I would have done if she hadn't mentioned it; instead, she advised that we lead by example.

There's absolutely nothing I dislike about this book. This book is one of the best self-help books I have read. The fact that the pages are not long and boring and overly lengthy is something I appreciate about this book; this would make it easier for lazy readers and busy people to read it and get value from it without necessarily spending lots and lots of hours reading. Because of how much I enjoyed reading this book and how helpful it is, I rate it five out of five stars. The fact that the pages are not long and boring and overly lengthy is something I appreciate about this book; this would make it easier for lazy readers and busy people to read it and get value from it without necessarily spending lots and lots of hours reading. It is exceptionally well-edited, and I found no errors while reading it.

I recommend it to readers interested in minimalism, especially women and mothers, and also to people who just moved into a new house or new space; this guide will really be helpful for them in setting up their new home in the most minimalistic way possible.

Well, I like the message the author is trying to pass across. But, I feel somethings need to be kept for memories, but we should make sure they don’t take up too much space.
