This is a read that I would love to check out. It sounds like a fast-paced thriller with many twists and turns that will hold my attention captive. What's more, it opens with a gripping scene where the poor lady falls into a pond, where it seems she escapes narrowly. I believe it will be an epic ride that will take me off the grid for a little bit. Thank you!

One of the aspects that I have liked after reading the review is that almost everyone, including Karen, is a probable suspect. I am delighted that the reader can play detective as the story progresses. I look forward to reading this book.

I love a good crime novel, and this one sounds interesting. How can one woman, like Sharon Archer, have multiple people that could be suspected of wanting to kill her?! I am anxious to find out the answer to that question so I am adding this book to my want to read list. Thanks for the excellent review!

Great review. A mystery thriller that has the magical ability to pull readers into the story. It is a bit of a disappointment that it is slow-paced but patient readers will definitely enjoy the exciting scenes. Congrats on BOTD.

Whoa! Karen is in really dire straits. Who would want her dead? I'm curious why she herself is a suspect. I love playing detective, so I am thinking this one could be for me.

Wow this book sounds intriguing. I love a good mystery and trying to figure out who wants to kill Karen sounds excellent. Could it be Paul, Michael, Susan, or even Karen herself? Could it be multiple people? What happened when the other car also ran into the lake? How did that driver survive? This sounds like a fascinating tale. It’s too bad it has a slow build; it sounds worth it in the end. Thanks for the review!

This incredible mystery novel centers around the premise that someone is out to kill the protagonist and with the help of friends, she tries to catch the killer. I find the cast of characters to be diverse and embodies the suspense that this thriller instills in the reader. I'm curious to know if the killer ends up being the husband, Paul. Congrats on the BOTD!

This is a brilliant review. It gives enough of the story to conjure up excitement and certainly whetted my appetite. I am really looking forward to reading this mystery myself and finding out who is trying to kill Karen and whether she survives. Thank you very much for your help in deciding!

Judging by the review of this book, it's quite the thriller. I hope this is a lead to a more grasping story. I do love this certain genre because of the suspense and scare. What does Karen have to hide? Would definitely give it a read to find out. Congratulations on the book of the day.

To be in Karen's shoes l will say everyone around her is a suspect of wanting her dead as said earlier " Karen has reason to believe that Paul may want her dead for her money, Michael clearly still harbors ill feelings for losing Karen, and secrets are continuously revealed as the story progresses", and it is a sad one if an innocent Karen must pay for the sins of her father's or others, indeed life can sometimes can be unfair. Great review.

Quite often the turn of phrase "dramatic series of events" is used to describe complete opposite, but fortunately not in this case! I read the book a long time ago and still harbor fond memories about it. Intriguing storyline, sound plot, believable characters, suspense holding true - everything in this book is to the highest standard. Actually, thanks for a reminder, it is high time I reread it))

The plot of this book is excellent. I can't just help but wonder who wants to kill Karen, and why will the person wants to kill her. What an interesting review.
