The book is intellectually stimulating. There was also satirical portrayal of socio-political issues. Nicely written review. Congratulations on BOTD.

I am always apprehensive about these kinds of books. However, if the author presents a fair story, and addresses the complex sociopolitical issues with due diligence, as your review suggested, then I might be persuaded to read it.

I don't enjoy reading slow storylines. but all the same, I would like to know what the president of the university did after he found out that one of his students was involved in a controversy and what will happen to the student.

Troy Thomas and Ian Mueller's sounds intriguing, and it'll be interesting to see how the author explores socio-political issues in this story. Congrats on BOTD.

I appreciate your reflection on the pacing of the book. I find it helpful going in to know the pacing is slow, but intentional. The novel sounds like an entertaining reflection on the balance between respecting others and performative activism. Thank you for the helpful review!

It sounds impressive that a Halloween costume changes the lives of two college students so abruptly, as seems to be the case with Troy and Ian. It looks appropriate that the characters are well described before reaching the central conflict in the plot. Sounds interesting.

To be honest, I am not really sure that I will be able to enjoy the atmosphere author created in this book. I don't like the setting and find the storyline a bit too ordinary to expect any intrigue. No offence, it is a matter of personal preferences and this one is simply not my cup of tea. Sorry and congrats!

Unfortunately, I’m not into the socio-politics of this book. I hope it finds its appropriate audience.

I read the selection on Amazon, but unfortunately, the story didn't grab my interest. I'll be taking a pass on this one. However, I expect others may enjoy it much more than me. Congrats to the author on BOTD.

The plot is interesting so I’m looking forward to digging into this book to find out how Ian Mueller will face the difficult challenge after the controversial choice he made and how his friend Troy Thomas will help him. This seemed to be relatable to readers especially to students.

I like the campus setting of the book. I like the relationship between Sam and Tony. We see how Sam is frustrated about his absent wife which is really affecting him he even envies the relationship of his friend with his wife but they try to cheer him up and I just love how they show him that they're there for him.
I love the sense of humor that's in how they talk about butts.
I would like to take on the journey of Troy and Ian as they tackle campus life with the daily struggle that comes with it.

In the book "Whole Lot of Hullabaloo" by Christopher Fried, an ordinary Halloween party and a controversial costume choice lead ordinary students Troy and Ian to trouble. Although the book is slow-paced, this is exactly what was needed so that the readers could get to know the characters and their relationships well.

Whole Lot of Hullabaloo is a heart gripping and intense novel. Surely judging from it's front cover you might expect another or different story but once you open it, you are sucked into this beautiful story. This novel is about a guy with the name Troy Thomas who wants a normal college life like everyone. Everything went perfectly well, with Troy and his best friend Ian meeting up with their girlfriends.
One night, during a party Ian is called by the administrator of the university about a student complain of being offended :o . This complain by this student gets everyone wrapped up in this hullabaloo not excluding Troy Thomas who has to know where he is standing, to know who he is really. This Hullabaloo puts Troy and Ian friendship at stake.
Will Troy find his feet around this or will he be swept off?
Find out in this heart gripping, intense yet hilarious novel.
Christopher Fried is indeed one of a kind author. I am indeed in awe of your gifts :tiphat: The descriptions are terrific. Though it is a spell bounding novel, it is witty and humorous.
If you are looking for a captivating novel to read, WHOLE LOT OF HULLABALOO will not disappoint you, that i promise. :D :D
