This is a sensitive topic that many people shy away from. I like how the author indicates the importance of being honest in an age-appropriate way. Kids have questions, and sometimes it’s easy to want to make something up to redirect the conversation. They will ultimately discover the truth, so it’s better not to have to backtrack later. Congrats on BOTD!

This is an exceptional book that answers questions that children ask and offers advice to parents. I also agree on that it is wrong to lie to your children when they ask certain questions. The author encourages his readers to change their way of thinking and to start thinking for themselves. Thanks for your review.

I agree with the author, lies can affect a child's life. This book would be a great read for parents as they will learn many things from the book. Wonderful review and congrats on the BOTD.

Anthony A. Morris, in this book, Good Sexual Hygiene & Spiritual Attitude, tries to educate both parents and adults on how to answer or give replies to questions asked by a child or their children. He focuses on questions about sex and anything relating to life. The author warned that lies should not be told to these children in any way else it might affect them later in life.
This sounds like a book I could appreciate. I remember how I was caught off guard with the "How are babies made?" question. I imagine questions of this nature won't be too far behind, and I'd rather be prepared. I also agree with the author about not lying to children, even about sensitive topics. I'll definitely be checking the book out. Thanks for a great review.

After reading the book sample, it appears that this book is for conservative, religious readers. It is a guide to health, sexuality, and spiritual ethics that strives to improve the moral attitude of the reader. The author recommends abstinence before marriage and only refers to male/female sexual relationships. So it may not be a match for all readers because it is not inclusive.

Sexuality is an important aspect of life. It is to be enjoyed, but if we have too many negative attitudes about it, it can be a source of guilt and conflict. It is important to mentally decide how we feel about our sexuality, and it makes sense to sort it out on a spiritual level as well. Great review!

It's great that this book helps with spiritual awareness. However, I don't read non-fiction, so I'll pass on this book.

This seems to be an exciting book. Children need to be educated on the proper perspective toward their sexuality. Thanks for the review.

I agree with your opening sentence. The human mind is powerful, and one’s mindset can influence one’s outlook toward life.

I also agree with Anthony A. Morris‘s message against telling lies to those inquiring about sex. I admire his intent to inspire readers to think for themselves.

As a middle school teacher, I have had some students open up too personal to me. I have also come across seeing and having to report inappropriate intimate activities occurring amongst students while on school grounds. I, too, am genuinely concerned for today’s youth! Like you and Anthony A. Morris, I think the young should separate from following the crowd.

The only critique I would input to your review is to include who you would not recommend the book. I like that you highlighted the focus on Christianity and the Bible, but I would suggest adding that this read might not be a recommendation to those who are non-religious.

This is a unique non-fiction book that tries to educate both parents and adults on how to answer or give replies to questions asked by children about sex and anything relating to life. The book is temporarily discounted on Amazon Kindle and has an inciteful OnlineBookClub review.

I agree that lying is not recommended as a way to persuade anyone. Children especially, as they will eventually learn the truth and harbor resentment over people that misled them. I also appreciate the message of researching things for yourself - does the book offer any specific insight based on objective studies? What exactly sets this book apart from the many other books that cover this same topic?

I find this a difficult topic to discuss with children. When do I address it seems to be my dilemma. However, I think being open and using scripture will be very enlightening.
