I love that the author considers that we should not tell children lies when we talk to them about sex. It is inexcusable that sex continues to be a taboo subject in society. I hope to read this book soon. Thanks for the review.

A book that offers insights on how to educate the youth about sexual relationships and the value of thinking for yourself instead of giving in to pressure by others. Congrats on BOTD!

I wish that I was given this book when I was going through my teenage years. The author created a void that most parents do not even discuss with their teens, so this book can be a better option than having "the talk". Congrats to the author for having the BOTD.

Thank you for your informative review. When I first saw the book's cover I didn't know what it was about. I grew up a very shy girl that knew not to ask my mom any questions about s-e-x. I have a teenage son for that I have had to look up a lot of information online about boys and their anatomy and it is amazing what our conversations are sometimes. I agree one should be honest and straightforward in our conversations.

I agree with you that the youth are disillusioned matters religion and need someone who genuinely cares for their needs to speak to them. Thank you for the thorough review.

I feel this book is a great start to learning how to speak to your children about a subject most do not take time to speak about because they feel uncomfortable with the subject. Usually when the feeling of being uncomfortable is around a subject learning more about said subject will remove the feeling of discomfort and thus book does just that. It demystifies and removes the uneasy feelings and replaces them with empowering knowledge.
I do say to take the information you resonate with though because there are some belief systems he quotes, which I personally don’t follow.
Regardless, this book has a great way of allowing a difficult subject become more easy to speak about.

This review is great. I like how he stated that it is a sensitive topic and that the author helps guide parents with how to share with their kids, but yet gives them the ability to discover further or their own especially in terms of spirituality.

This book sounds great for adults raising children, especially when it comes to spiritual matters. I like that it emphasizes that adults and children both should think for themselves. That’s crucial not just for deciding on spiritual matters but for everything in life. Thank you for the helpful review.

Today’s book looks like a faith-based manual that introduces the concept of sex in a practical, scientific and spiritual approach. The sanitized presentation seems to lessen the awkwardness and discomfort when discussing this topic. Congratulations on Book of the Day!
