I remember a family member of mine was hit down by a car. I was going home from the hospital and that song was playing. Every time I hear that song, I remember the accident. It does not make me cry but I feel kind of sad.

Maybe but not necessarily, for me some songs make me cry because I embed in them certain moment(s) of my life that are really emotional to me (maybe critical life events or decisions), so when I listen to those songs came with flashbacks filled with emotions. Do I have to do that? Nope, I just like it, it gives me in a way meaning to my life. Is it a necessary thing to do as a human? Nope again, just do whatever it's better for you regarding music, if you enjoy it the way you've been doing then it's a 100% valid way to do itRose Tamuno wrote: ↑07 Dec 2022, 10:17 No song has ever made me cry. I don't know why that is, but I have always wondered if I was built different from the rest of the world where emotions are concerned.

His songs, to me at least, hit really hard to me.

Send a message to mary made me cry hard. I do not remember the name of the artist, but it is a country music. Sometimes I hate listening to it because of how sad its lyrics are.
