Craig W. Stanfill's Terms of Service send us into the future where AIs meticulously watch everything we do, even the slightest interaction with anyone. If someone breaks the rules or leaves the city of their own free will, they will risk being caught and thrown away in a camp for years, doing hard physical labor all day under harsh supervision. Or in other cases, they may have their social credit rating lowered.

This world is seen through Kim's eyes. Kim works for a giant AI corporation, and her task is to prepare these systems to interface with human beings. While this can be beneficial, it also means that people must live under strict terms of service in major metropolitan areas. As AI systems become more prevalent, they often make life difficult for some people.

Kim and her childhood friend Shan decide to take a ride in a nearby park. They pass unauthorized area routes, yet they continue, nonetheless. Kim's superiors, expecting to punish her for her transgressions, instead grant her a ground-breaking project. As Kim's life spirals out of control and the AIs go insane, he embarks on self-discovery and anarchy that threatens to demolish society's corrupt powers and, maybe, civilization itself. This disastrous voyage, which includes many transgressions, ushers Kim into a new chapter of her life.

For me, this book was a great and exciting experience. I was surprised that there is no gender identity in this book as it considers crime in that world. The author tried to show us a glimpse of what our world can come to with the control of the machine. And how our life will be affected severely, and we will lose our privacy and freedom.

There was nothing that I disliked about the book. I truly loved this book and all its details and story dialogue. It was an open mind for a genuine concern of many people. But overall, it was a great book and was exceptionally well-edited; I saw no spelling or grammatical problems. I rate Terms of Service by Craig W. Stanfill 5 out of 5 stars.

I recommend this book to everyone who enjoys reading science fiction stories and future technology tales or anyone concerned or intrigued by the emergence of AI in the present world. Many readers can find Terms of Service to be a riveting, intelligent piece of science fiction that can be connected to our world.
