Science fiction, fantasy and adventure?? Now that is a book I will definitely read. I love delving into a fantasy land that is created in someone else's mind, especially one that tells an unpredictable story.

This book sounds like a wonderful adventure for readers of all ages. Enough suspense and adventure for lovers of those genres along with aliens, prehistoric creatures, and fantasy elements, such as the invisible island, to pull in the science fiction and fantasy fans. Follow all of the above with the element of the separation of the parents and their son through a set of believable circumstances will also draw those readers who have a family and empathy for the parents. Kudos to Michael for attaining BOTD honors. Thanks also for the great review.

I can imagine my 11-year-old self lost on an invisible island away from friends and family. The panic attack I will be having every hour is unqualifiable. I can wait to read how Sebastian navigates his way around this invisible island.

As I too have a son of eleven years, I'm intrigued to know, how a boy of that age will survive living on an island, let alone an island
cloaked by one of the feuding extraterrestrials.
I'm even more curious and therefore shall get the book to discuss Sabastian's survival skills and ask my son if he would do the same or not. Thank you for uncloaking my imagination and making visible my curiosity with your wonderful review!

This fantasy novel depicts the story of a young boy who navigates a strange new place (an invisible island) and hopes to be rescued and returned home. I like how full of imagery this book has and the appeal to a younger audience was done well. I wonder how Sebastian deals with all the new and foreign aspects of the island. Congrats on the BOTD!

How Sebastian ended up straying that much away from the parents is still a misery. It sounds intriguing how the young boy really survived in this very strange island he was lost in.

Having sampled a few first chapters, I've taken to brave young Sebastian and to his parents. I do not see an issue about the size of the chapters - even when they are short, they are complete episodes, and juggling short chapters helps the author to achieve fast pace and suspense. I also agree that short chapters are instrumental for younger audience, as I can easily see 11-year olds and younger children having never enough of this brilliant book.

Unfortunately, I will have to pass this book, but don't get me wrong, there is nothing bad about it, the story sounds awesome in review, but I believe that it is more suitable for someone younger. Personally, I can't get too interested in adventures of eleven-year-old kid, but then again its just my taste, thereby congratulations on BOTD!

I enjoy adventure stories, but I’m not into the avatar and alien concepts mentioned. Nice work on the review.

This book reminds me of another story though with a different plot. Sebastián's adventure in the invisible island will appeal to a wide range of readers. The suspense in the plot and the author's use of imagery makes this book worth reading for me.

This sounds like a wonderfully adventurous plot for young adult readers! I love the idea of multiple types of fictional characters all together on one island.
