Nice review. As a fan of fantasy novels this sounds very interesting and it's nice that adults can enjoy it too! But still I don't know how to feel with the fact that the chapters are very short..

I read a sample of Sebastian and the Invisible Island, and although not being a lover of science fiction, I would nonetheless suggest it to those who are. Congrats on winning BOTD.

"Sebastian and the Invisible Island" by Michael William Hogan is a book with an interesting plot that draws the reader deeper and deeper into the essence of the book. The author's process of description is exceptional.

Sebastian and the Invisible Island by Michael William Hogan

The action begins on the first page!
A great read for young adults. It has everything a young person wants to read about. Ocean, weather, fishing, communication and getting along with mom & dad, procrastinating on math homework, independence and so much more!
Read this one today and your friends will thank you for recommending it to them!

Based on your beautiful review, I simply HAVE TO read the book and see how Sebastian managed to escape from the Invisible Island.

This sounds like a teen science fiction/fantasy version of Robinson Crusoe! I wonder how Sebastian survived on that island with all those strange creatures, and if he ever got back home to his parents. Thank you for introducing the book to everyone! :)

It nearly sounds impossible to escape from an invisible island, so it will be interesting to read how Sebastian manages to do so.

I feel sorry for Sebastian. Being that young and being far away from his parents it may have been difficult for the little boy. This book is a must read as I would like to join Sebastian's journey. Wonderful review. Congrats on the BOTD.

I wonder how will Sebastian act when he encounters those strange creatures and characters. Seems like a really interesting book.

I could not imagine being trapped alone on an island, at just 11 years old!! I really loved this book so far and would definitely get the whole book to read. It seems like a genuine good read.

I am glad you enjoyed this book so much! The invisible island sounds like a wonderful way to invoke a child's imagination. Also, does Sebastian ever get off of the island? Thanks for the review!

Seems like another great story to get for my daughter who adores the Sci-fi/Fantasy and was incapable to stop raving about other eleven-year-old boy's adventures the entire 7 book long saga. I hope this book will introduce her to more interesting worlds and characters. Thanks and congrats with BOTD!
