This is quite a comprehensive review. I am happy to know about the hard work put by Michael William Hogan into giving this novel a smooth and captivating plot and character development. I hope he looks into the issue of chapter length noted by the reviewer.

This review succeeds in capturing the essence of the book as depicting adventure. However, there are fundamental contradictions. You say that some readers may erroneously view some parts of the book as unnecessary and some chapters were too short and bulky at the same time. That doesn't make sense to me.

The few pages that I did get to read, had me on the edge of my seat. Dorsal fin, sharks... I lived myself into the books, feeling very wave, breath that Sebastián felt and took. Hope to be able to finish reading as I cannot image the outcome

I can only imagine how lonely and scared Sebastian would be feeling being caught up in such a strange island. I am delighted by the suspense, the fluid narration, the easy- to-follow plot, and of course the amazing character development. I would like to know how Sebastian figures things out for himself.

I don't think I want to read this book. Even the title doesn't appeal to me but I recommend the book to whosoever wishes to read it. Congratulations on BOTD

The book is attractive with the review it self. The fact that it brings the images to the reader makes it more interesting. It is a perfect book since it is extremely edited and highly rated. The book review is written in a good and attractive format.

I am curious to see how eleven-year-old Sebastian Youngfield survives on the invisible island. There seem to be strange things on the island like shapeshifting extraterrestrials, a prehistoric ichthyosaur, a Polynesian warrior, and a female aviator, I am curious to see how he interacts with them and if he is rescued from the island. Congratulations on BOTD.

After reading the Amazon sample of the book, I have to say that the story is perfect for kids and pre-teens because of its simplicity and straightforwardness. I, myself, found the first few pages enjoyable to read.
Congratulations to the author for BOTD!

I like the idea of an adventure in an invisible island. This young adult novel seems to have so much for me to indulge in. I like that each creation of character contributed well to this uniquely original plot. Congrats on BOTD!

I'm not an avid lover of fictional stories but this particular one caught my interest because it had a touching plot. I hope the story ended with Sebastian finding his way back to his parents. Congrats on BOTD.

Sebastian's story in this book is one of adventure, and who wouldn't love to read an adventurous book? Although there a quite a number of mythical creatures in this story, I think the reader will still be able to appreciate and relate to the story. The suspense created also adds to the mystical appeal of the book. I am eager to read how Sebastian is reunited with his parents. This promises to be an interesting and exciting read.
