Re: Review of Snatched Up to Heaven for Kids
At the center of the plot is the little girl Emma who dreams of going to heaven almost every night. In her dreams, Emma talks to Jesus, walks with Him, and gets acquainted with the beauties of heaven. She recounts all her dreams to her sister and parents, who listen to her carefully every time. Her parents conclude that most of her dreams and descriptions of heaven match those in the Bible. Because of everything she dreamed and learned about heaven and hell, Emma is determined to spread the word of God to other people so that one day they too will go to heaven.
This is an ideal short story that talks about the importance of living by God's word. I really like how this message is conveyed because I believe this book can draw children’s attention very successfully. Therefore, the book would be an ideal bedtime story. In addition, the illustrations are very captivating with soothing pastel colors. In the plot of the book itself, I appreciate the behavior of Emma’s parents and their support. They listened to her carefully each time as she recounted the whole dream she had. One very important lesson for all parents is to always listen to what their children want to tell them, whether it is a dream or a real-life situation.
I have nothing negative to say about this book. I enjoyed every aspect of it, and that’s why I give it 4 out of 4 stars. In addition, I did not come across any errors in the book, so it seems to be exceptionally well edited.
I would recommend the book to all parents who want to introduce their children to Jesus and who want to encourage them to read the Bible. On the other hand, I don’t think this book is an ideal choice for other non-Christian book lovers.
