Lol trueTammyO wrote:Fifty Shades of Grey hooked me with the first two in the trilogy. However, by the third and last book I was fed up with her inner Goddess. The book was too repetitive for my taste. I skimmed the ending of the book because I simply could not read it anymore-- too much repetition-- sex included. There are better erotica out there in my opinion.

I did read an interesting article stating that the reason they were so popular was he to the fact that women are in control of so much now a days that they liked the idea of not having to be "in control" in the bedroom.

I agreee as well if you are interested just read, you cant always make a judgement call based on others,Maud Fitch wrote:If you are interested, just read the book. You can always stop reading if you are dissatisfied. Otherwise, you are giving it inadvertant publicity. As Bighuey wisely says, read one porno erotica, you've read 'em all.
(Though they help sometimes) you yourself must make the choice if you like it or not.

I didn't bother reading the rest of the books, since the first one clearly didn't hold any positive effect on me. But maybe the problem's in me.
