If you are earnestly ready to heal the wounds from addiction and/or traumatic experiences and experience the wholesomeness of bonding with your 'inner family', then this is the right book for you. In seeking...finding...healing... Becky Lu Jackson sheds light on the 'inner family' concept and provides novel, but powerful and feasible set of visualization exercises which will introduce and draw you closer to your 'inner family'; and writing formats which will enable you to draw wisdom from 'future selves' and past experiences so as to draft out spiritually-sound principles which will guide you, and bring you infinitesimally closer to this magical and miraculous path of self-healing. Sharing her experiences and that of others in this path of self-healing; she takes you through step-by-step the process of discovering your 'inner family', connecting with the members of your 'inner family', assuming a parental role with your 'younger selves', and utilizing the guidance and wisdom of your 'future selves ' to heal the wounds of your 'younger selves'. Betty shares her experiences on how she draws wisdom and support from her 'inner family' during critical phases of her life such as death of her loved ones, divorce and relocation.

The therapeutic exercises and principles herein will be a timeless self-help tool to facilitate to remold you to be the person you want to be, from who you were, as a result of addiction and/or earlier years traumatic experiences.

I found the strategies in this book practical and versatile when pertaining to facets of life such as health, character, and parenting. I am also in awe of how Betty demystified the 'inner family healing tool' concept in a manner that will be easier to grasp and experience the benefits thereof, to the fullest. Even without going through major traumatic experiences, reading through this book gave me clarity over what some voices in my head meant and how best to deal with them when such voices surface.

I would emphatically say that this book does not contain a guide to get you out of the tentacles of addiction as the tool is not aimed to curb addiction, so the efficacy of the tool to addicts is very much reduced. I recommend getting help for addiction and/or traumatic experiences before you use the 'inner family healing tool', so that it will be maximally effective in healing trauma and strengthening the bond with your 'inner family'.

Betty's usage of this 'inner family healing tool' in face of critical life challenges such as divorce, death of loved ones etc attest to the feasibility of this tool. The techniques in the book were elaborately illustrated. The book is well edited and relatively free from errors that will overall blur the content. I would rate this book 4 out of 4 because of the reasons aforementioned.

I would recommend this book to people who wants to experience self-healing, self-validation and a healthy relationship with themselves.

As an open minded person, I want to explore how the tools described in this book will heal past trauma. Such novel ideas should be more discussed in my opinion. Good review.

Self-therapeutic tools such as this are rare to find. How a person will connect to all these 'selves' leaves me to wonder what this book entails. Good review.

Just sad that people undergoing traumatic events won't find these tools much help, otherwise these are pretty good tools to have.

What exactly is the 'inner family healing tool' and how can it be used is one that only this book can answer. Tools such as this for treating traumas are very much needed.
