The book Conversations with and Messages from Jesus by Eileen Renders is a spiritual book that talks about the author's moment with Jesus, the son of God. In this book, the author shares her knowledge, which is driven by Christ himself, with others who are interested in knowing God. She shares her one-on-one discussions and experiences with Jesus, which also flow from the teachings of Christ in the Bible.

This book mainly teaches Christians how to serve God better. It captures different ways that Christians can be of service to God. It also educates us on how and why we need to embrace God. Finally, it tries to showcase God's intention for mankind, all of the above being bedded on the catholic doctrine and teachings.

There are many positive aspects to this book. This book is spiritual to the core; it had no deviation, and I was impressed by that. I like what this book teaches; it teaches about God, and I surprisingly did not find it boring. This is because the messages preached here are true and enlightening. With the way the author recounted her experiences, I got captured, and it felt like I was a witness as well; this alone took my likeness for this book to a whole different level. I learnt a whole lot from this book. I gained knowledge of the true definition of God's love and will for mankind. I learnt of many promises of God to his children, that is, people who believe in him, and how they can be made manifest only when they trust God. The teaching on forgiveness captured in this book was a great eye-opener for me. Many more of my takehomes from this book is more on a personal relationship with God. I got spiritually enlightened from reading this book. I'm happy I did.

Most importantly, I liked that the author shared her encounters and taught without disparaging or prejudicing other religions or denominations. I believe these to be the attributes of a true and sincere Christian.

There is only one negative aspect to this book. The repetitive lines seen in the journal aspect of this book make it rather redundant; many lines say the same thing. I'd suggest you do away with the repeated lines and declutter the journals, if possible.

I spotted some errors while I read this book. However, the errors were few. The book was professionally edited. I rate this book 5 out of 5 stars. I gave this book this rating because I see no reason to give it a lesser rating. I enjoyed reading this book and everything about it. Also, the negative aspect stated above did not affect my satisfaction with this book.

I recommend this book to all those willing to get a better insight into the encounter with Jesus and to doubting Christians.
