Review of Cat Detectives in the Korean Peninsula
Cat Detectives in the Korean Peninsula is the eighth entry in the Inca Cat Detective series written by R.F. Kristi. Inca is a brilliant cat detective who is the head of a detective agency.
Inca and Company is a detective company that has been known all over England for its remarkable work in the detective industry. This book talks about how Inca and her family travel to South Korea for a French Pâtisserie competition.
This book is one that has so many things that would interest children. The storyline and the characters are very fascinating. The part of the story that really touched me was that of Ye-Jun, the tour guide put in charge of guiding Inca's mom, Missy, during her stay in South Korea. Ye-Jun had a sister in North Korea who had not returned for a while, and he missed her. This separation worried Ye-Jun. So Missy tried to see what little she could do to make Ye-Jun reunite with his sister. Another twist in the story that was interesting to me was the time an old acquaintance of Missy tried to steal the cheese Missy was to present at the event to ensure her failure.
If I were to write about the things I liked about this book, this review would not contain them. One that was most inspiring was how the book talked about the Demilitarized Zone. That zone is the area that separates North Korea and South Korea.
I am rating this book five out of five stars because I really liked the book and I did not have any dislikes. I also did not find any grammatical or spelling errors, which means it was exceptionally well-edited. Furthermore, I recommend this book to children of all ages, as it would help them a lot.
