A high-fantasy story with intense world-building and atmosphere. It definitely seems like a fun adventure to sweep you away.

I like a good fantasy amd the book sounds interesting, full of magic, mysterious other worlds, and creatures, that can eat magic. And it also sounds very intriguing: how their mothers' dissapearance connected with that One Church and what is so important about that map that they are ready to kill for it. Congratulations on becoming BOTD!

This is a fantasy and mystery fiction. Ron Root seems to very creatively develop the series in this interesting second book . The protagonist and his wife set on journey to find the mother. Your review is well written and suggesting that this one could be read as stand alone. Congratulations on the BOTD!

i liked the political theme in the story about hierarchy and social status. I hope the characters are moulded by their statuses in their society

This is the second book of the Tales of Graal. Gresham's character seems appealing as he aspires to earn magus status in order to have a higher social standing in society. Also, it's attractive that the world of Graal is correctly portrayed with detailed descriptions, maps, and character development. Sounds interesting for fantasy lovers.

This sounds like something I would've loved in high school, but I'm not a huge fan of jumping into books mid-series so I'll probably pass or read the first book.

I'm also a fan of fantasies,I like to see people like Gresham who will do there level best to prove themselves worthy to there loved ones (Rayna).
And when the author puts all of his imagination to his work making the world of Graal more visible to the reader like the maps, characters and humour.

The second volume of Ron Root's Tales of Graal series is titled Kin's Quest. Gresham, an orphan, journeys to Suzerain to undergo combat mage training. In order to give his expecting wife Rayna a better life, he aspires to achieve magus status. When Rayna receives a map showing her mother's location, the couple sets out on a lengthy and perilous journey. This review discusses the development of the tale in great detail, and I appreciate how thorough it is.

I think I would read this book just because it has magic in it. I love fantasy stories, with worlds invented by the author. I think the author is very creative and very good when they have to build up this whole world from scratch.

A story about coming of age in a different vein, in which numerous people must overcome significant challenges in order to find their place in society. presented in a monster- and evil-filled medieval fantasy world. I liked following the characters' adventures and the anticipation of seeing them through the challenges they faced. Thanks for the review and Congratulations to the author on BOTD.

This novel sounds to have a very interesting mix. I like when there is a mix between fantasy and comedy that's introduced through some characters.

This book sounds like a pretty typical fantasy adventure, but never mind, that’s exactly what I like. I can’t wait to enter the world of Graal and meet this orphan named Gresham. I am looking forward to diving into the world of magic and adventure! Thank you for the intriguing review!
