This sounds like a great adventure for the fantasy readers. I loved the summary given in the review. This book seems to have something for most readers in it. And it also seems gripping and engaging. Congrats on BOTD!!

Thank you for your review. The storyline sounds interesting. It's great that the author was able to make each book of a series readable as a standalone novel. Still, I shall try and get hold of Book 1 first and read that before this one.

This novel, in my opinion, grabs the reader's attention immediately away. Gresham's urge to validate his ability and worth is something to watch out for. Thank you for the great review, and congratulations on taking home the BOTD.

The story of Gresham is an interesting and epic one, I am curious to know the adventure that befalls Gresham in Graal.

I love a good fantasy novel, so can't wait to explore the world of Graal and Gresham's escapades as he learns of his magic ability.

As a fantasy reader, this book seems as though it would appeal to me. I am particularly interested in the fact that Gresham’s wife is secretly highborn and how that makes Gresham feel as though he must prove himself worthy of her. Of course, I prefer to read a series in order, so this one will have to wait until I can read the first book. Thank you for the helpful review.

We live in a society where everyone wants to prove himself or herself and wants to gain societal respect. It is interesting how thee protagonist tends to achieve this through magic.
