I haven't read the previous book, Scorn of Secrets; therefore, I am not interested in reading this book. I didn't like the cover, but I like that it is a story with issues that are difficult to discuss but that frequently happen: kidnappings and sexual abuse.

Following a vile attack, Madison attempts to start over with her daughter. As she begins to heal and move forward, her nemesis re-enters her life in another terrifying and horrendous attempt to have her for himself. Thank you for your review.

I share Madison's pain and fear, being sexually abused isn't something easy to get over. I enjoy the turn and twist in the story. Congratulations on the BOTD!!!

I'd like to read the first book in the series before I read this book to get a clear picture of what happened to Madison before she moved to Baton Rouge. The book review is quite thorough as it describes the action-packed sequel. I hope Madison escapes her kidnapper and finds the peace and happiness that she deserves.

There are certainly a lot of characters in this story. A lot if people and it looks like a lot of pain for the main character.

I am truly worried for Madison after reading this review. It seems that she has to always look over her shoulder because Jackson is always there. I'm going to download this book because I'm hoping to see Madison escape this madness.

Wao! This is interesting. I still don't understand what Jackson stands to gain by kidnapping Madison even after what he did to her. Nice review!

Ugh! I'm already itching to read this book. This is my ideal novel to read. Just when Madison thinks life is getting all rosy, Jackson strikes. I wonder what happens next after the kidnap. This singular act of Jackson will stir up a whirlwind in the lives of Madison's loved ones. Congratulations on BOTD.

I feel really bad for Madison. The plot is exceptional. I am intrigued to know what happens after Jackson kidnaps her. I do wish that he will be punished for his sins.

What would have made Jackson rape Madison and still kidnap her? Why did she end her relationship with Justin? I have to read this book to get answers to all of my questions. Great review. Congratulations on BOTD.
