I love that this book is of the historical fiction genre. I like that the author was able to tell the story from multiple characters perspectives without it being confusing. The inclusion of historical figures in the story makes the book more interesting. Congratulations on making book of the day!

This seems like an interesting historical faction with mafia related theme. It’s funny yet intriguing that there are many protagonists in the novel. On my read list.

It is interesting that this book is considered as "faction". It was based on events and situations that actually happened and yet, some things are considered as imaginary or unreal. Interesting! I would love to consider reading this book

He maybe a talented author at expanding events over 5 decades, but that's just exhausting to read. As the saying goes- just relax and curl up with a good book. Exhausting is the opposite or negative of relaxing. So, although I'm curious to know why they were called The DOGS of Brownsville, I'll have to pass. Thank you for a great review!

I enjoy reading about the world war II especially when its based on true story. This book is a mixture of facts and fiction thus the author called this faction. Im curious to find out more. Congrats on #botd.

I like historical fiction and this one sounds interesting as is the first time I read about Brownsville and that Brownsville was predominantly Jewish at the time the book was set (right after World War II).

The plot of this book, which centers on the Jews in Brownsville, has caught my attention. The majority of the characters relocated to Las Vegas, a fascinating metropolis. One day, I hope to read this book. Thank you for the suggestion, and congrats on taking home the BOTD!

intriguing narrative throughout, To be completely honest, I find it hilarious that the author actually checked up the quantity of swear words. Moreover, it's also intriguing how difficult it is to identify a protagonist. I absolutely must read this book. Congrats on BOTD!

Hmmm
I don't yet know what to say about this one except that the author deserves some praise for his skills in writing this book without mixing up details. Congratulations on being the BOTD.

I can tell from your review that you really enjoyed the book. I am curious to read a story that is going for the profanity record. That's for the review.
