Cat Detectives in The Korean Peninsula: Diary of a Snoopy Cat by R. F. Kristi is a children's book about a group of animal detectives. Inca is a cat detective and the head of Inca and Company, a detective agency involved in solving mysteries. Inca and Company members are Inca, Fromage, Cara, Monk, Charlotte, Terrance, and Polo, a combination of cats and dogs. Inca had solved several cases with the assistance of her detective team. They headed to Korea since their human mother, Missy, had won a chance to attend a cooking competition. They find a mystery of a lost cat and sister. Inca assembles her detective team to try to solve the mystery.

It is a children's book, and the author effectively used pictures to ensure children enjoyed it. She used pictures of the animals; for instance when describing how hairy the Inca's tail was as she showed a picture of Inca. Children love pictures, and a book without them would be boring. The author was wise to include pictures of every event she discussed. I liked that the author used animals as characters since it enables children to love animals and treat them well. Inca's detective team was doing creative things, which makes children creative, just like the animals in this book.

I found no negative aspects in this book. Kristi ensured the sentences were short-structured for children to read since she targeted little children.

I rate Cat Detectives in The Korean Peninsula: Diary of a Snoopy Cat by R. F. Kristi five out of five stars. The book was exceptionally well-edited because it contained no errors. Kristi included visual aids that children enjoy watching while reading the book since it makes them admire it. The sentences were short-structured to fit the reading capacity of children. With all these, I give this book a perfect rating.

I recommend this book to children aged 4 to 9 years. It fits them because children in that age group start learning how to treat pets; hence, the content targets them.
