Thanks for your review! Abusive relationships are tough to write about so I’m happy that the author was able to handle the subject in such a skillful way.

This is an amazing fictional novel highlighting the life of Katie Kelley, family, determination, avenging crimes, and unique characterization. The book is temporarily discounted on Amazon Kindle and has a well-written OnlineBookClub review. Congrats on the BOTD selection.

Katie's story seems full of hardships but it is always inspiring to see how people bravely face difficult situations in life. I like that it's told from Katie's point of view. Sounds interesting.

Today's BOTD follows Katie, a loving mother who has just been diagnosed with cancer after suffering years of abuse from her husband. Readers who enjoy fictional novels that combine mystery and crime with courage and determination will love this one! I can't wait to see how Katie sets the stage to make things right after all these years! I've added this to my WTR list...thank you! :-)

Sounds like an excellent read. The theme about abusive relationships is quite common but the author coupling it with the incidence of cancer makes it worth the read for me. Well rounded review.

It's always hard to read about an abusive relationship. Even if it's fiction, it's still a hard topic. Combined with the main character getting cancer at a young age, it will be too sad for me to enjoy.

Great review! I like your emphasis that the author addresses hefty topics like abuse and cancer, but does so in a way that doesn’t drag down the reader. I enjoyed your review.

The hype around this book has been unquestionable and, admittedly, that made me both eager to get my hands on it and terrified to read it. I mean, what if I was to be the one person that didn’t love it as much as others?

It seems this is a very good story about perseverance. Maybe the editing can be improved. I will check out the sample but so far while I appreciate your positive review I am not all that interested in this book.

It seems that the book would be pathetic and also talks a lot about reality experiences. As long as we have challenges, we need courage and confidence.

This book sounds emotional. Dealing with cancer and at the same time having been in an abusive relationship is such a heavy subject. I hope there is a happy ending.

I especially like the title of this book. So much to point out, and the cover is also exceptional.

This sounds like an interesting book and a great read! I love books with female protagonists who finally stand up for themselves! I want to read this one, so I am putting it on my want-to-read shelf! Thanks for the excellent review!
