The BOTD sounds tragic with Katie facing two extremely deadly circumstances. I believe her situation seems hopeless living in an abusive relationship and having cancer. Nice Review.

Katie went through a lot in this story. It is pathetic to read about her loss, her abusive relationship, and her ill health. It will be interesting to read if she pulled through the situation. This will encourage others. Congrats on BOTD.

The book definitely does deal with some heavy topics, based on the sample I read. I found the use of flashbacks a little heavy-handed, though. I was wondering what you meant by that it "needed some edits"? I did see a few grammatical errors in it.

This is a very useful review. I agree that the story feels sad but not overwhelmingly so. The sample I've read ends with Katie's son's winning a provoked fight at school, and I liked his walking out as he was clearly winning the fight. In the sample, I have also noticed and liked the flashbacks, and I agree with the reviewer that the flashbacks provide very useful information about the background.

How hard relationships and days could be and the impact of that. Katie's life is something of both.. It's sure sad but realistic and based on the great review above it's not overwhelming. It will be on want to read
Life is hard on its own so let's make it easier for each other if we could.

The review is well-written. The summary was clear and on point. It is rather sad but also interesting, reading about other people's lives, sharing their grief and sorrow, going through hard times with them and getting to know them. As the reviewer mentioned, the book was so well-written, that they felt as if they were there with the author, feeling close connection with them. I think the book could also help people that have gone through domestic violence or anything in common with it, as it would be helpful getting to know other people's perspectives, outlooks, thoughts. It could help one understand themself and their emotions even better, fully realize the case and learn from it. I also liked how the review mentioned the style the book was written in, as I don't usually enjoy books consisting a lot of throubacks, therefore, it's an useful information for me. I thank the reviwer for the informational review, and the author for the great book.

Abusive relationships are something most women have been involved in, and that should change. I cannot wait to read Katie's story.

It is obvious Katie had life really hard. Being in an abusive relationship is like having cancer already, then she unfortunately had the real cancer. I’ve noticed a trend in women in abusive relationships ending up having cancer.

Just when I need an outlet to cry for— this book is perfect. Katie went through such hardships such as surviving in an abusive relationship and battling cancer. I wonder how did these two traumatic occurrence contributed to her character’s growth. Insightful review, I could tell at a glance that this book is something to cry for.

A book that portrays the boldness and strength of a mother's love for her children in the midst of past traumas.

After reading this well-written review, I am now invested in exploring Katie's story. The tragedy of losing her parents, taking on the mature role for her siblings, and now a cancer diagnosis; I'm rooting for Katie.

Congrats on BOTD. Unfortunately, I'm not interested in abusive relationships, so I guess this book is not for me.

This sounds like an immersive read that addresses Kate's current situation, as well as her grief-stricken past -- losing both her parents as a teen. Hopefully, she is able to break free of the controlling relationship and beat cancer. Thanks for the informative review.

After reading the sample of *A Frame For Flowers* by Sean Storin, I am very interested in the story and where the author will take the characters. It seems like a good story with relatable characters and perhaps some family values and ideals within the story. A very good review only lends to the desire to rEad this story. Thank you.

This book feels heavy and thought-provoking at the same time. Cancer and abuse are the main points of the story. Thanks for the review.
