I enjoy reading books of this genre. I like the fact that the author made use of figure of speech.

The first book of this series already seemed like an engaging epic based upon King Arthur's myths and this sequel seems to carry on the same road. This makes me even more willing to look into this series. Thank you for your great review!

This series' first book already struck me as a compelling epic based on King Arthur's legends, and the second book appears to follow in the similar vein. This encourages me much more to research this series. Congratulations on winning the BOTD; nice review!

I am a fan of all things Arthurian, but I'm not a fan of poetry... And while I do like expanding my vocabulary when reading, I do also enjoy an easy flow read. Reading is an act of pleasure and if I have to look up every second word in the dictionary, the essence of reading (and the story) is lost.

The story of King Authur has always fascinated me; it is a great classic. I am not sure I would enjoy this story due to the poetry, but thanks for the great review!

Royalty is indeed not meant for the weak . However l love to read more just to find out if the jealous new king who finds the good news a bad one will succeed in creating chaos in the kingdom. Great review.

If you enjoy looking up new words, this poetically written book is for you. It contains a gripping tale of Camelot and King Arthur, but with a beautifully written prose. The author definitely spent time and true dedication to this work. Congrats on the BOTD!

The Lion of Camelot is the sequel to The Aftermath of the King, the first volume in the Camelot Chronicles series. After Queen Guinevere led the knights, to bring down Zorgar, Camelot is positioned to experience peace again. He, secretly leaves his castle to find out for himself what people think of him. He also craves the legendary sword, Excalibur. Thanks for your review.

How can someone get the first book ? I can’t see that it is on Amazon.

Unfortunately the sample of this book from Amazon is 80% the introduction, so only a relatively small part the actual story. Personally, I find the verse structure obscures the actual story. You mention needing to look words up, but did you find it easy to read otherwise ?

Good review. This book appears intriguing, but since I don't like poetry, it's not for me. However, congrats on winning BOTD.

Today's book of the day reminds me of the movie, "Merlin". Although I haven't read the first instalment, from your review, I'm sure I would enjoy this particular series. The author has done well. Congrats on #BOTD!

As soon as I saw the book's title, I knew this book would be a worthy read. I think it links to the movie 'Merlin'. I also want to broaden my vocabulary on the terms used here.
