Cat Detectives in The Korean Peninsula: Diary of a Snoopy Cat by R. F. Kristi is a children's book about cat detectives that solve complex mysteries. The fame of cat detectives had spread over Europe for solving complex detective mysteries. The author introduced each detective company member and their role in the company; for example, Inca was the head of the company. The cat detectives accompanied their human mother, Missy, to South Korea after she was invited to be a judge in a cooking competition. They found a mystery they had to solve of a lost sister and cat. They start investigating to solve the mystery.

The book contains pictures of the cat detectives with descriptions alongside each animal. Children would find it interesting since they compare the image and the description finding it enjoyable. There were mysteries that the animals had to solve. It would make children eager to know how the animals did it. It makes children be creative and enjoy it since children find it funny when animals have to do things that human beings do. The story involves creative animals, which makes children change how they think about animals, developing a love for animals.

I have nothing negative to say about this book. The storyline was good, and it was well-structured.

I rate Cat Detectives in The Korean Peninsula: Diary of a Snoopy Cat by R. F. Kristi five out of five stars. I did not find any errors since it was exceptionally edited. The sentences were short-structured to ensure easy reading. It teaches children to love animals by using animals as characters. Every aspect of the book was perfect; hence, deducting a star would have been unfair.

I recommend this book to children of 4 to 12 years. Toddlers cannot read and enjoy the information, but children of the age group I mentioned would like the book since the content fits their age. Children of that age are learning to stay with pets; the book would be helpful.
