Although it is incredibly important for navigating life, financial literacy is rarely taught in schools. Since our wants are limitless but scarce resources, a person must understand financial and resource management. E. Alan Fleischauer's Reconfigurement: Reconfiguring Your Life at Any Stage and Planning Ahead is a very helpful book for planning and managing finances. It's not necessary to consider your plans until you are 65 years old.

The book accurately highlights the changes that have taken place in recent years that call for adjusting our perceptions of a wide range of aspects of life. For instance, life expectancy was low when the retirement age was 65. Because people live longer after retirement, the book makes the case that she should be given measures to improve her quality of life. The author covered a variety of essential insurance coverage. For instance, if you lose your source of income, having disability insurance will be useful. The significance of career appraisal is also covered in the book. Although many people do not enjoy their work, is it acceptable to quit immediately without making long-term plans? Anyone may reconfigure at any age, the book argues. The key is to plan. The author also covers a variety of long-term investments, including mutual funds and government bonds.

The writing style gives the impression that the author and reader are having a one-on-one conversation as they go over various details and respond to any questions the reader may have. The book is fairly clear and concise while including all the necessary information. The author debunked some myths and provided straightforward explanations of financial jargon. A few asides, jokes, and stories sprinkled throughout the book served as its frosting and kept readers interested. This makes me love the book.

I found the author's extensive study and current understanding to be fascinating. To help his readers make wise decisions and get the most out of their investments, Alan uses his experience to discuss all options and conditions. He also weighs the benefits and drawbacks of all options on investment, social security, life protection, employee benefits, and life insurance. In addition, Alan provided the necessary data, numbers, facts, and statistics to support his statements, enabling the readers to invest their hard-earned money in a way that would yield positive results. There is nothing negative about this book.

I suggest this book to everyone interested in retirement planning. Who else would read this, of course? Moreover, this book contains zero errors, to my knowledge. Reconfigurement: Reconfiguring Your Life at Any Stage and Planning Ahead by E. Alan Fleischauer has a perfect rate of 5 out of 5 stars. Nothing in this book is lacking or defective enough to detract from its rating. In addition, the editing of the book is exceptionally well-edited.

I know that financial planning is necessary, but I find it exceedingly boring, so I don’t do it. I also know that this is sticking my head in the sand, but I can’t seem to help it.
