A perfect blend of historical drama, love, classical music and memoir will certainly make a good read. I look forward to reading this piece, or better still, watching it on screen.

Aren’t the ideas that some clergy used to have about anything out of the ordinary funny?

Nice review. I'm curious if Paganini is given a requiem mass and a proper burial. Congratulations on winning BOTD.

I knew I recognized the author's name when I saw who it was. The fact that Richard wrote a screenplay that can be read as a novel is astounding. If this book ever makes it into a movie, I will be sure to purchase a ticket. Thanks for the wonderful review!

I love anything related to music, and although I usually do not read screenplays, I will give this book a try.

The life story of a magnificent musician is used by Richard Rees to create a gripping narrative that hits all the right notes in Paganini's story, which is both a historical drama and a love story. The review does a great job of bringing these things out.

"Diabolus In Musica" by Richard Rees is dedicated to the character and work of the famous violinist Niccolo Paganini. The book was conceived as a screenplay that is a mixture of historical drama and love story. Scene settings are easy to follow.

This plot is distinct since it combines a love story with historical drama. The central figures in Paganini's tritone, a priest named Cafarelli, and other supporting characters captivate me. Amazing review.

It sounds like the screenplay is one that is full of dramatics! I'm glad that this book being a screenplay didn't take away from its readability factor.

Paganini must have been labeled as evil because of his brilliance. How I hope they are all wrong. I'll be interested in reading this play. Thanks for the review.

I have come across another of the author's books where Niccolo Paganini was at the center of the conflict. I guess this is the backstory for that particular book.
