Hi,Nisha DSouza wrote: ↑15 Feb 2023, 11:51 1) We have all been there, trying to find a book with values, knowledge, wisdom, and of course, a great moral.

Were there particular questions you had about these sentences? Here are my thoughts on the first two.
#1 It may seem like a lot of commas, but for clarity, I would recommend a comma before the interrupter “of course.”

#2 It seems that “young” and “impressionable” are coordinate adjectives. If so, consider adding a comma between them.

Also, it is a bit unclear if the author is demonstrating both things (that it is ok to think differently and how the parent needs to support a child’s innocence) to young impressionable minds. This Purdue Owl link has great examples of parallelism that may give you ideas for rewording this sentence if necessary:

Oh, I see. And you're very welcome.Nisha DSouza wrote: ↑15 Feb 2023, 21:32 I asked this because I got marked down on these sentences in my review and was given 0 out of 40 for these errors. I wanted to understand if these were really that big errors. Thank you for the explanation.![]()

I didn’t notice anything amiss in #4.
I am assuming #3 was highlighted because of a missing comma before “irrespective.” If so, that is a tough one. There are several confusing sources regarding how to punctuate a prepositional phrase at the end of a sentence. Basically, it comes down to the writer’s intent. I don’t think a comma is required in this case, and this link also supports not having a comma:

All the best on your next scorecard.

Sorry for the delayed response. I was a little low the last couple of days because I was banned for plagiarism incorrectly. I wasn't sure if I was allowed to post things here. But I was reinstated today after an appeal, thanks to an admin recheck. ☺
Thanks again for the links you have posted. I will use them for my future reviews.

My review account was recently banned because of plagiarism. I didn't post my review anywhere else and have read the book in complete. I really work hard for this review but it was banned. Unfortunately, the fair copy of the review below is even marked as automated.
Here's my rough copy of the review of The Misogi Method-
The Misogi Method by Jody B. Miller helps you reach the phase of lasting happiness and success. She accomplishes this task from the idea of misogi. Misogi is a Japanese ritual to purify oneself by bathing the entire body in ice-cold waterfall. Jody beautifully unfolds the science behind cold and even shares its benefits, such as stronger immunity, increased blood circulation, and a decrease in stress, leading to improved physical and mental well-being. But her mission is not to send its readers standing under a freezing waterfall but to perform something that has better results than misogi, The Misogi Method.
Jody begins her book by making a recap of her memories as a child who is free to play outside with neighborhood kids. Jody believes that through play, each of us develops life skills, including creative thinking, risk tolerance, and visualizing what we want to be when we grow up. Jody even shares the science behind playing as kids and how it affects adulthood.
Our experiences playing and being entertained as kids often shape the direction we start with in our adult lives.
Jody has been the leader for 15 years of a recruiting and retention firm, helping highly motivated professionals land their dream Jobs, and helping companies develop cultures where employees are happy.
The Misogi method discussed by Jody came from research and reflection about the value of play, the study of the evolution of achievement through history, a particular ancient ritual called a MISOGI, the curation of science, data, and studies that support the Misogi methods foundation and real-life practical application both in her own life and the chronicles of others positively changed lives.
Jody urges us to write down whenever we get ideas, or there is something up in our minds to know ourselves and to transform ourselves.
At the end of each topic she discusses in detail, she gives space for her reader to write thought-provoking questions. Every exercise Jody talks about involves its readers. Jody also discusses how she did those exercises and provides a method to help her reader practice the exercises. Exercise questions give realistic conversations like feel. Jody also includes a takeaway after every topic, which is to the point.
Jody assures its readers that after performing the misogi method, the doors of opportunity will open more easily, success will take less effort,l and the level of happiness, joy, and love of life will feel through it spikes upward. Live life more fully.
The misogi method is something you choose to do that takes you way outside your comfort zone and, of course, comes with a set of rules, such as it shouldn't kill you nor harm others, and it's ok to fail.
Reading Jody's book is as if you are having a conversation with a person who went through a lot to heal herself. Today she wants other people to benefit from what she has learnt for not just surviving but to live life to the fullest. Jody even shares the interviews of successful people such as Brain Clark, CEO of Rainmaker, founder of copy blogger and top-ranked podcast unemployable, and curator of Further. Another awesome interview is of a woman entrepreneur, Jill Kinney, CEO of health and wellness. Jill has been a leader in the world of health and fitness for more than 30 years now.
The misogi method deserves a five out of five-star rating. There were no major grammatical errors or typos. I didn't feel a need for improvement in this book. Jody has covered everything in her book. The author takes its readers on a seamless journey leading to success and lasting happiness. She has everything for everyone, whether you be a mother juggling duties between house and work, an employee facing a stressful work environment, or just a people pleaser wanting to break free. I enjoyed how she takes us back in our lives and helps us rediscover and heal our childhood trauma or overcome childhood fears that secretly lingered into adulthood. Jody is truly a happiness coach. She helps us find not only how to find our misogi but also where to find the support needed to start your happiness.

It's going to be hard for me as I am banned from the review team, I was really into reading and reviewing books. In three months I read around 15 books. But it's a good thing that I learned, and I am thankful to Scott Hughes and the team for helping us read most of the books for free and submit a better review with a good feedback system.

I got a new update that I am temporarily suspended. But after that, I haven't received any further updates. It has been a month since last update.
