Review of We are Voulhire: A New Arrival under Great Skies
We are Voulhire: A New Arrival under Great Skies, written by Matthew Tysz is a fantasy book. Galen, a character in the novel, travels from the Lands of the Princes to the kingdom of Voulhire in order to claim the forge left to him by his uncle in Magnum Caelum at the beginning of the narrative. In contrast to the peaceful, King Wilhelm-ruled Voulhire, the Lands of the Princes are a collection of islands where constant conflict is the norm. Due to Galen's unfamiliarity with Voulhire, we inevitably learn more about it. Additionally, Lord Eldus, whose economy was devastated by its previous two lords, Lord Orlin and Lord Meldorath, is introduced. He is sent by King Wilhelm to restore stability to the coastal town of Hillport. The story's antagonist is the strong mage Lord Meldorath, and its plot is advanced by what happens in Hillport.
I appreciated how the book's portions were thoughtfully divided. Allowing readers to follow the sequence of happenings in the lives of distinctive people without becoming confused or losing track of the plot. I was delighted with the book's descriptive style. As a result, I had a clear mental picture of what was happening. This book's plot is the first aspect I appreciate. Excellent work was done by the author in establishing the series' opening tale. The reader becomes more acquainted with the Voulhire universe as a result of the exquisite mythology, mysteries, character development, and historical details.
There was nothing I disliked about the book; it was well-written and interesting. Although the story started out slowly, it gradually improved. I love how the book's lexicon of terms and topics was made clear right away by the author. I didn't have to worry too much about grasping the meaning of each term because I was already aware of the glossary. The author narrates the story from the perspective of its characters. It had magnificent character development, and I was impressed by the author's uniqueness and imagination.
I am glad that I came across such a thoughtfully provocative book that I enjoyed reading from the beginning to the end. There were no grammatical errors or mistakes in it. Therefore, it was exceptionally well edited. I am rating this book, We are Voulhire: A New Arrival under Great Skies, 5 out of 5 stars because it was intriguing and well organized.
I recommend this book to readers who enjoy science fiction, fantasy, and historical experiences with bold themes and plots.
