This book distantly reminds me of the movie Face/Off. I can't even start to imagine what feelings it would cause in a person to lose his face and fingers. I wonder what were the reasons for this in a first place; if someone hated him that much, why would that be? And how did he get his revenge? Thank you for the review, you've made me curious about the book.

This book will make a great movie. I would be traumatized if I lost my face which is a big part of my identity. I hope he gets the revenge he seeks against whoever did that to him!

"Callaghan, vol. 1 & 2" by Kim Ekemar I'd an interesting story about Matthias Callaghan who set out to regain his lost fingers and settle the scores in his life. I will consider reading.

Today's book of the day is two in one. One is standalone but the other one is not. I feel for Matthias Callaghan imagining how life would continue without his ten fingers and deformed face. The review of this book got me curious. I wish to congratulate the author on #BOTD!

I can't imagine how Matthias must have felt waking up with no face and fingers. I'm a fan of crime thrillers, so I'll read this book.

I must say that this book intrigued me more than anything else before. It is such an unusual and probably unimaginable plot to lose your ten fingers and face and having to continue living like that. I liked how the reviewer mentioned that there are two books of the story and the author switches between third-person and first-person narrations, as none of the above are my usual go toes, but in this case, I think it would've been needed to tell the story more clearly. The reviewer also said a few words about the style each of the books were written and the topics that they covered, which was also an essential and nice detail. The review was all-comsuming and very pleasurable to read, every point made was supported and clearly explained.

Losing a face and ten fingers is quite gut wrenching, I hope with the support of his wife he is able to heal and deal with the assailants. Its quite traumatic but as the reviewer said I hope he is able to find closure. I will give the book a read to test the narrative of the author. Thanks for the review though.

Thank you for your review. I agree with your assessment of the author's story-telling ability. The short sample on Amazon was nice and inviting. This type of story is certainly my cup of tea!
