It's an insult when people say that the Holocaust never occurred. Real people such as this young lady and her family suffered a traumatic experience. This instance made me realize how one's life can change in a blink of an eye. This event changed the course of history for an entire race.

History is always important in somebody's life and everything surrounding their lives. The Holocaust is a great story to read on. Secrets in a family can create hostility and problems when one of the family members finds them out by themselves. I would like to read the book. Congratulations on the BOTD.

Reading about the holocaust excites me. It's an event I've been interested in for a long time. I don't know what the high number of twins in Stella's family has to do with this, but I'll have to find out. Congratulations on BOTD.

The Holocaust was one of the largest genocides in the history of the world. I wonder if twins were the cover given for the Jewish children taken in as refugees instead of being sent into the concentration camps. Nice review.

As a rather emotional reader, I'm worried this book might be too much for me. I have read the first 2 chapters and found it exceptionally well-written. I doubt I'll continue as I don't think I could handle all the things to come.

This memoir of the author's life is an entertaining read. Her mother is Dutch and was raised in Holland; she was taught as a child not to mention that she is Jewish. I appreciate how the author was honest in her account of her experience and used no euphemisms. The book's illustrations make it clear what the story is about. Congrats on the BOTD. Thanks for the great review.

This book sounds extremely intriguing. It would be interesting to see how the author was able to discover her secrets of her that were buried in the past. Congrats on the BOTD.

This is very intriguing! I would love to learn more about the holocaust as well as the other strange history of the author regarding the amount of twins in her family during this time. The author's proper research is definitely another plus. Thanks for an excellent review.

Discovering Twins, what I like is its topic. The author has done lots of research before writing this book and her findings aligned there. It’s worth reading.

Thank you for the great review. I appreciate knowing more about the story. I wonder how many sets of twins there are? Also, what are all of the secrets? Many people never think the secrets will come out, but it seems they always do. I have added this book to my list of ones to read.

Discovering Twins is an informative book about the author's search for closure as she noticed an unusually high number of twins in her extended family. The Holocaust may have an impact in the history of her ancestors, given that there's a secret that her mother didn't reveal to her until her death. Congratulations on the BOTD.
