Today's book of the day is about the author digging through her history to discover the unbelievable number of twins in her family tree. Honestly, I am not sure if the theme of this book catches my interest. I wish to congratulate the author on #BOTD!

"Discovering Twins" by Stella Claire ter Hart is a non-fiction story about the author finding so many twins in her extended family history. This required a huge amount of research to go back to the 19th century especially for someone researching her Jewish family. Sad to say but the Jews have been persecuted for more than 2,000 years and people that do not believe the Holocaust happened are fools and on judgement day their sins will be punished by Christ. This is a fascinating book for several reasons: The depth of the research, the horrifying impact of the Holocaust and the uncovered buried secrets. The writing of this book is exceptional and I am adding this book to my To-Read shelf. Very good review.

The usual practice is that when one is about to die, he or she reveals every secret to the beneficiaries or family but Sophia's case is different. Nice review!

Your detailed account of the book has left me feeling intrigued and passionate about reading it. I appreciate the author's attention to detail, as well as their unique style of switching between past and present events. I am particularly interested in the accounts relating to the Holocaust, and how the fates of many extended family members are linked by one singular event. Thank you for recommending this book to Jewish history students and nonfiction genre readers alike. I look forward to discovering the horrifying secrets that Stella Claire ter Hart uncovers in her search for closure

The example was fantastic, and I commend the author for having such strong writing abilities. I wish she could find a reading audience that would be interested in learning about and comprehending how devastating the Holocaust was for so many families.

Congrats on BOTD!

Inasmuch as I want to blame Stella Claire's mother for trying to hide some family secrets, I will have to read this book to find out what her reasons were for such an act. I enjoyed reading your preview.

I'm unable to date my family tree back further than my great grandparents, so I find this, going back to the 19th century very interesting. This also seems like an emotional story. If the author has done it as well as the reviewer claims they have, this will definitely be a good read.

I wonder how heavy this secret is for Sophia to prefer taking them to her grave to sharing. This book seems suspenseful and intriguing. I will give it a try. Wonderful review. Congratulations on BOTD.

As someone who admires the resilience of the Jewish people, I am always intrigued when I come across stories relating to the Holocaust. I also admire the author for putting together such a work. Not everyone has the courage to write on issues relating to the Holocaust.
