The adventures of Inca, the super-duper detective cat, never end. This time she is on a mission in Korea with her human mother and friends. Missy, Inca’s human mom, was chosen to be a judge at a cooking competition. At this event, Missy hoped to showcase her new cheese, but on their way to Korea, they encountered opposition. Who was this opposition? Even when they got to Korea, Inca was faced with a situation where her role as a detective had to come into play. Did Inca play her role as a detective well? Find out when you grab a copy of this book.

The best thing about this book is the interesting plot. It was a mix of fun, adventure, and friendship. I love how the plot flowed, and it seemed like the plot was divided into two different fun parts. The part where they had to fight back for Missy’s cheese was lovely. It showed friendship, togetherness, and love, and these are virtues that children can learn. The illustrations were fantastic and beautifully drawn. I liked how bright colors were used to color the diagrams. These brightly colored illustrations are factors that will draw and glue the attention of children to this book.

I disliked a few things about this book. For example, this book was a bit too lengthy, and children may get bored from waiting too long for the end or even lose interest completely due to their short attention span. Secondly, some of the words used in this book may pose a challenge for children who will read it unless there is an older person to guide them while reading it.

These dislikes are too minor to take a star away from this book, so I rate it 5 out of 5 stars because I enjoyed every bit of it. I found no errors in it, and it was exceptionally edited.

I recommend this book, Cat Detectives in the Korean Peninsula by R.F. Kristi, to children, especially those between 6 and 12 years old. Teachers and babysitters can get this book to read to children too.

I agree with you, the illustrations were beautiful, and the drawings made the book so much easier to read and understand. I also loved the part where they fought back for their cheese. It was something I was looking forward to.

This book has an intriguing and colorful cover page and I guess that is how its inside is. I wonder what kind of oppositions they face on their journey. I am looking forward to reading this book to find out.
