This book sounds so interesting and is something I would love to read. I admire the character's courage and zeal to succeed in spite of it all.

The author has done an outstanding job with the story. It is difficult to portray a real persona without jeopardizing either the fiction or the true story. And Baby Doe is a fierce rebel who fought for women's rights when there were none. This appears to be an intriguing historical fiction that delves into important subjects. Congrats on the BOTD.

It must have been a hell for baby Doe when Harvey left her with the pregnancy. Judging from the review, the book will really be an interesting one to read. Congratulations BOTD!

Real life researched and then written up as historical fiction, Gold Digger by Rebecca Rosenberg is a great read. The official review says so and the first pages of the book confirm that this is an intriguing and intelligent story about a strong woman of the 1800’s. Mining is a very difficult task but Baby Doe works through her many trials and tribulations persisting and standing up for her own rights. I look forward to reading this Book of the Day.

First time reading about Baby Doe and I love history so I will like to read the book is sad about what happened to Baby Doe after being disowned by her own family because she was trying to help them.

This is a historical fiction based on a true story. This story was always known as a well known wild west legend of Baby Doe, which is based in the 1800s. Great review.

I lived in Colorado for many years so I am familiar with Baby Doe Tabor's story. This book will be one of my favorites, I'm sure. The addition of interesting dialogue, if it is historically accurate, will add pleasure to the reading. Thank you for your great review!

Was Harvey called a gold digger because she decided to marry a rich husband. Obviously, she had good reason to do so. I'll like to read her story. Good review.

Women empowerment during the 1800s seems so rare that I'm intrigued to read about the character. Congratulations on being listed as Book Of The Day.

This sounds interesting already. Looking at the time it was set and how society was run in those days immediately made me feel compassion for the protagonist. Walking into bad marriages have always had a more devastating effect on women for centuries now. Kudos to the author for being able to resurrect history.

It really was difficult to survive in the 1800s as a woman, but Baby Doe's courage to break the circle is quite something. I would love to find out more....I will read the book.
