A world of adventure and magic sounds lovely. I am excited to join Delvin as he embarks on a journey with Princess Jarla and Fionella to save Hengel from war. Congratulations on BOTD.

Often fantasy authors skimp on accurate maps that serve as a guide for the story, but the author in this case has taken that aspect into consideration. Also, I was very intrigued by the plot after reading your description!

The story talks about how Delvin was learning magic from Borlock, the magician but one day found himself standing near Borlock’s unconscious body with a chair leg in his hand. The story flowed at a reasonable pace, and the characters were well-developed. Nice review.

The title of this book is quite appealing. I am already eager to know how Delvin will solve the mystery surrounding the death of Barlock. This book seems promising.

Could it be that the mysterious death of Barlock was already the threatening the peace in Hengel? I am already curious to know a lot about the ending of the plotline.

What an intriguing story that turned into something emotional. How would Borlock murder someone that he saw as a mentor? Indeed, this investigative thriller would be event-filled. Congrats on BOTD.

I'm astonished that a protagonist can be without description. That alone would be sufficient for me to deduct a point, even though it seems to be a good book.

Borlock's major aim was to learn magic tricks from his boss, but people ended up accusing him of eliminating his boss. This story will be so suspenseful and eye-opening. Congrats on BOTD.

Sampling a couple chapters I wanted to read more. Charles Townsend seems talented in writing this mystery story. Delvin, the protagonist, seems interesting. Your review is very well written. I like magic, I would like to read this book sometime. Congratulations on the BOTD!
