A historical romance with supernatural themes and past lives is my kind of book. I'm one chapter in already and you've convinced me to keep reading. Thanks for the great review.

This is an interesting romantic tale and I’ll love to read more about it. Is it that they couldn’t get married in their past life the reason they were back together in the future?

"The Fifie" by Marco Collina is a fictional story based in Scotland. The two main characters are Maureen and Marcas a young couple that fall in love but after a supernatural circumstance they meet again in their next life as Mark and Marla. The story gets stranger since in their next life Mark is already married to Molly and they have a son. Mark feels he is no longer in love with Molly and Marla is a widow. This is a remarkable story with events that are impossible to explain. Marla is frustrated and wants to search for her prior life. One needs to read the book to find out what happens to the characters and if they find a way back to their prior lives.

Although I do believe in love, I do not believe in the afterlife. The plot is amazing, but why didn't Marla divorce her husband instead of living in infidelity.

This is a love story from the past into the future. I like that they firstly met in the past. But the review didn’t indicate if they married then or not. Great review!

This book seems to be a mixture of romance, drama and historical fiction. The fact that there is some supernatural occurrence in Mark and Marla's love story makes it quite intriguing.

The story of Mark and Marla’s love sounds intriguing and well-developed, which is usually something I can get pretty into. I don’t really like storylines where the main love connection breaks up a current marriage, though. You make this book sound very well written though, so I think I’ll give it a shot past just the summary! :eusa-think:

I like the concept this book has, and I wonder about the supernatural circumstances that led them there, but I do not like stories that support and normalize infidelity as it is never okay to do that.

This book seems like a romance with supernatural affect on it. And all other themes that are mentioned by the review sounds fantastic to read together. And it's indeed true that in our world some people are aware the partner in their life is not who they truly love. Congrats on BOTD!

After reading your review, I was somewhat shocked :) I sampled the book and would not have imagined it was going in the direction of finding your soulmate again! However, I do agree with you that the book was quite easy and enjoyable to read. The author sets the scene very eloquently to draw in the reader. Thank you for the great review and the insight into where the book is heading!

I like the cover of this book and I like reading about adventures at sea. I'm wondering if Mark and Marla will be able to reunite without causing too much trouble for other people

Love is the theme of this intriguing love story, and it fabulously portrays the transcendence of love beyond earthly life. I would like to know the supernatural circumstances that allow Marcas and Maureen to become lovers in their next life.

Mark and Maria's story sounds a worth read. How both regret their marriages is something that is found even in today's life. Wonderful review and congrats to the BOTD.
