Review of Your S.U.C.C.E.S.S. Blueprint
Jean was little when her family moved from Taiwan to the United States, and her grandmother treated her mother terribly when they had to rely on her grandparents for financial support. As the first-born daughter of Asian immigrants, she grew up under the unwritten rules of being a successful Asian woman. She attended an Ivy League university, obtained her law license, and married. Despite the maltreatment her mother faced from her grandmother, Jean was determined to succeed. However, she still felt unfulfilled even after checking off all the boxes. No matter how hard she worked, she couldn't escape the vicious cycle of work, stress, frustration, and more responsibilities. She believed that earning more money would bring her happiness, but it did not. It was after she redefined her definition of success that things changed for her. She saw the light, and it transformed her. Now, she wants to share this light with others.
I love how the author made the book relatable by occasionally sharing her life stories and experiences, stories of her clients, and other stories. You will find some skewed societal beliefs like "Most of us seek money not because of money but because of what we think it will provide." (Page 6), and you will learn why they are not true. In this case, as a matter of fact, more money equals more problems. The author desires for you to gain freedom, just as she has, and stop being afraid of not having enough money. The author made me understand that "Financial freedom is knowing that you are money and money is you. It is within your control, as long as you're willing to own it." (Page

Jean Tien shares the step-by-step process she uses with her clients to identify the beliefs that keep them stuck in their current situations. The book also includes a QR code for readers to scan and download a free S.U.C.C.E.S.S. Blueprint Workbook, as well as meditations. Through this book, readers will discover the author's definition of S.U.C.C.E.S.S. and its true meaning. I learned that my success is not based on luck or circumstances beyond my control. Instead, I have the power to create positive experiences and elevate myself to success. All I have to do is choose to do so, and the rest will fall into place.
Your S.U.C.C.E.S.S. Blueprint: The No B.S. Approach to Having It All Without Starting Over by Jean Tien is progressive, as the next action sort of uses the output of the previous one. However, the blueprint is not rigid at all, as you can always go back to spend more time on any of them. I took my time to read this book. I wanted to take the exercises and let the book transform me, and it did. I'm grateful to have read the book. I also learned how to weigh risks and rewards in order to make choices.
I thoroughly enjoyed this book and found a few errors, indicating that it was professionally edited. I highly recommend this book to anyone who is stuck in life and unsure of which path to take. It provides the push and guidance needed to seek help and make positive changes. It will help you realign your goals and set you up for winning. If you're ready to make a change in your life, this book is a must-read. There was nothing about this book that I disliked. Hence, I am rating it 5 out of 5 stars.
