Do you have a favorite Christmas song?

Post by Tip the Bottle »

This is just another opportunity for me to type out Fairy Tale of New York by The Pogues, I love that song so much.

White Christmas :) Frank Sinatra's version.

Carol the bells. Every christmas when I was in choir in school we would sing this a capella and I just loved it!

I love 'I Believe in Father Christmas'

"They said there'll be snow at christmas
They said there'll be peace on earth
But instead it just kept on raining
A veil of tears for the virgin's birth
I remember one christmas morning
A winters light and a distant choir
And the peal of a bell and that christmas tree smell
And their eyes full of tinsel and fire"

Such fabulous lyrics ... love it

I'll have to agree this song is a fantastic Christmas song

Either The Chipmunk song or Elton John's "Hohoho (Who'd be a turkey at Christmas)...tongue in cheek, everyone's standing around getting lit while Santa's smoking in the fireplace...it was the flipside to the rather predictable "Step Into Christmas"...probably out of press

My favourite Christmas carol is Joy to the World - so uplifting and rejoicing!

My DD was born just after Christmas and I even gave her the mn Joy after this song..

My favourite Christmas song which is not a carol is John Lennon's And so this is Christmas - so moving.
